A passionate and dedicated Education Professional, Kumar Ajit specializes in Early Childhood Care & Education, Foundational Literacy & Numeracy, and Educational Psychology. With a strong commitment to social impact, he focuses on empowering marginalized communities, particularly tribal populations. Ajit has extensive experience in education, management, and information technology. His diverse expertise enables him to bridge theory and practice effectively.
As a teacher educator and Master Trainer, Ajit has collaborated with various stakeholders of the ICDS department and Department of Basic Education of Uttar Pradesh, DIETs of multiple districts in Madhya Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh states. He has successfully contributed to capacity-building initiatives for educational functionaries, government school teachers, and numerous non-governmental organizations, enhancing their professional skills through impactful training and mentoring.
Ajit's research experience includes conducting field studies in tribal areas of Gumla district, Jharkhand and Dhamtari district, Chhattisgarh, rural areas of Jamui district, Bihar during his study at Azim Premji University. These immersive experiences have deepened his understanding of diverse educational contexts and informed his approach to teacher education and community engagement.
Notably, Ajit contributed significantly to humanitarian support and vaccination initiatives for tribal communities of Sagar & Damoh districts in Madhya Pradesh during the COVID-19 pandemic as part of the Azim Premji Foundation's efforts. His dedication to promoting inclusive education and social welfare reflects his unwavering commitment to creating positive change.
