About the Role
80% of our teacher pupil are women, who come from economically challenged households. They are dealing with patriarchy, lack of choices, religious polarisation, social media pressure to name a few.
Our curriculum is designed to provide in-house counselling to each teacher pupil focusing on their emotional health. This will also eventually pave the path for career counselling. However, the priority will be emotional health.
Roles & Responsibilities
Emotional Health Support:
Provide individual and group counseling sessions to students to address emotional challenges.
Create a safe and supportive environment where students feel comfortable expressing themselves.
Develop personalized strategies and coping mechanisms to help students manage stress, anxiety, and other emotional issues effectively.
Career Counseling:
Conduct assessments to identify students' strengths, interests, and career goals.
Guide students in exploring various career options and pathways.
Assist students in developing action plans and setting achievable goals to pursue their chosen career paths.
Community Engagement:
Collaborate with other staff members to create holistic support systems for students.
Organize workshops and seminars on topics related to mental health, self-care, and career development.
Establish partnerships with local organizations and resources to provide additional support and opportunities for students.
Education & Experience
Min: Graduate in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field + Min. 1yr of relevant work experience
Preferred: Clinical Psychology
